Mainamati International School in short MIS, an English Medium School, is located at Comilla Cantonment. The school started its journey in the year 1997 and was housed in Honeymoon Lodge building at Shahid Serajul Islam Road. Due to growing demand of studying in English Version amongst the general mass MIS is shifted to its new campus. The fourth stored school building was inaugurated in December 2016 and MIS started its academic activities in new campus from January 2017. Though the children of army families will get priority to study here, the admission is open to students from civil background as well. The institution is committed to provide quality education to the young generation, the future hope and aspiration of ours.

Central Public Library of Bangladesh (between 1996 and 2007 it was named Begum Sufia Kamal National Public Library) is the largest public library in Bangladesh. It also houses the Public Library Department which, with 68 public libraries including the Central Public Library in its jurisdiction, is managed by the Directorate of Public Libraries under the Ministry of Cultural Affairs

The auditorium (Shawkat Osman Auditorium) of the library is a major venue for cultural events in Dhaka, including the International Short and Independent Film Festival. It also houses the Library Training Institute funded and managed by the Library Association of Bangladesh (LAB). It also has a reprography service, in-house bindery and conservation section.

The Khulna Development Authority (KDA) was established as semi-autonomous body on 21 January 1961 by the then East Pakistan Govt. by an ordinance called ‘The Khulna Development Authority Ordinance, 1961′. It was established for  development of Master Plan, planned development in master plan area and to restrict unplanned development of Khulna City and its suburb areas. At present, KDA is working under the Ministry of Housing and Public works of the Bangladesh Government according to ‘Khulna Development Authority Act,  2018’.

Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited (DPDC) is one of the largest power distribution companies in Bangladesh. Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited (DPDC) had been incorporated on 25th October, 2005 under the Companies Act 1994 with an authorized share capital of Tk. 10,000 (ten thousand) crore divided into 100 (one hundred) crore ordinary share of Tk. 100 each. While the company started its operation the number of customers were 6,55,908, now we have around 12,98,125 (on August, 2019).
