British American Tobacco Bangladesh or BAT Bangladesh is a part of a leading global multi-category consumer goods business that operates in over 180 markets. Amongst the 180 markets that BAT operates in, we are a Direct Reporting Business Unit (DRBU) under the Asia-Pacific Middle East Region of the Group. They make high quality tobacco products that meets the diverse preferences of our consumers and are one of the few companies that undergoes a ‘crop to consumer’ operation.

 

Project Requirements:

Rather than relying on ID cards for punching in and out, a biometric verification will ensure a true identity and avoid buddy punching. Plus using biometric as a form of identification brings more reliability and preciseness. The client required a Time Attendance solution with a very durable and elegant compact design. Apart from reliable and convenient time attendance system, they had some specific requirements: cost-effective time attendance system, fingerprint identification, time attendance terminal, and attendance calculation and reports.  In order to have a complete and organized attendance system, the client needs to generate weekly or monthly reports and keep records of.

Project Description:  Bangabandhu Memorial Hospital (BBMH) is the largest private hospital in Chittagong, Bangladesh. With 220 beds and 15 wards, it serves between 700 and 1,000 patients per day, about three-quarters of them as outpatients.

 

Established in 1994 on the campus of the University of Science and Technology, Chittagong (USTC), it is run by the university and serves as the teaching hospital for its medical school, the Institute of Applied Health Science (IAHS). It is classified as one of the country's 23 "referral" hospitals, generally meaning one to which patients are referred by other healthcare entities because it is better equipped and employs medical specialists.

 

 

Project RequirementsAs one of the largests private hospitals in  Chittagong, Bangladesh, was concerned with the safety of the hospital including hundreds of patients, medical students and health professionals as hospital could be a potential spot and hostage for terrorists as well as vulnerable to geopolitical risks.
